Watch: Four clips from Samson, coming to theatres February 16

The release of Samson is just over two weeks away, and that means it’s time for the studio to start putting out some clips from the film. Check out the first batch below the jump.

Here are four clips that went online today, courtesy of WingClips:

‘Reminded of His Calling’ shows Samson being reminded of the prophecy that he will be God’s hand of vengeance (an allusion to the words of the angel in Judges 13:2-5):

‘The Riddle’ shows Samson challenging the Philistines to solve a riddle, and then it skips ahead to the scene in which the Philistines give their answer (Judges 14:12-14,18a):

‘Seeks a Second Chance’ shows Delilah meeting Samson in prison (the scene itself has no direct biblical parallel, though Samson is sent to prison in Judges 16:21):

‘Finishes Strong’ shows Samson preparing one last act of vengeance (Judges 16:28-30):

Samson comes to theatres across North America on February 16.
