Sisters take next step in advancing to the final prize on hit Game Show
ATLANTA, April 11, 2013 – The Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist are set to display their impressive biblical knowledge in the semifinals of Season 2 of the Game Show Network’s hit show “The American Bible Challenge” at 9 p.m. ET Thursday, April 11.
A trio of sisters from the Order, Sister Peter Joseph (novice), Sister Maria Suso (professed sister) and Sister Evangeline (novice), have been competing as the Team “Sisters of Mary” on the show. The Ann Arbor, Michigan-based community will use any winnings they receive to provide for the future of the Sisters in the Order – to ensure they are provided for as they enter retirement.
The sisters won the first round of competition on the March 21 season premiere. They advance tonight against the Christian Wrestling Federation, which is playing to raise money for the Christian Wrestling Federation, which promotes a wholesome version of professional wrestling, and the Righteous Rubbies, who are playing to raise money for the Ruby Project, dedicated to helping physically, sexually and emotionally abused teenage girls.
The winner of tonight’s episode will compete in the series finale for the grand prize. Will the Sisters advance? The only way to find out – is to tune-in.
