A Word on the New Site Setup

As you can see, the new site is up and running. As you will note, I have tabs set up. I am working on the content for them, but so far each of them just have short blurbs (and a few simply say “coming soon”). My plan is for each tab to have a basic summary, a list of key posts, and a list of further resources, whether websites, books, or articles. I will let you know each time I complete one of these tabs.

I’m hoping that my tabs will serve several functions. My goal for the tabs on the Christian Patriarchy and Quiverfull movements, the Christian Right, and the purity culture, for instance, is to educate those who don’t know much about these movements, encourage those whose journey has been similar to my own, and challenge those who still adhere to these movements. My goal for my atheism, feminism, social justice, and parenting tabs is similar. And of course, these tabs all help narrate my own personal journey.

I still need to do some work on my categories, but I thought I’d ask if any of my readers have requests for my widgets in the sidebar. Is there something that’s not there that you’d like to see? I want to do my best to make the reading experience as painless and pleasant as possible.
