You probably never considered this conspiracy theory

C’mon, Mark, you can’t prove that the planes weren’t REALLY shape-shifting UFO demons (apart from the deaths of all the people on the planes the families of whom would be really offended by this video).

  • James H

    Ha! That’s nothing!

Consider: a bomb explodes at the Boston Marathon. Less than 24 h later, a massive earthquake strikes Iran!

    I THINK NOT!!!

I lost a cousin that day, just a kid working in a sandwich and coffee shop in one of the towers.

I’m sorry to hear it. God rest his soul.

How dare you use such satire? What the government did really did happen.

What you need to realize is that all of 911 was covered up. No one even knows it happened. No one knows that two planes went crashing into a building. Now they are trying to use this theory.
They didn’t use fallen angels. They use ghost planes from Eastern Airlines.

I guess it was only a matter of time before someone came up with something this loopy.

It just makes me sad to think of the kind of life that these people lead, looking for demons under every rock.

There seems to be some ideas circulating through some parts of the Pentecostal community – I think Hal Lindsey’s in on it – that UFO’s are real, and are manned by demons, or perhaps “organic robots” controlled by demons. That may be where some of this guy’s notions are coming from. Of course the Vatican’s behind it all somehow:

There’s a contingent among our separated brethren that would laugh at Catholics seeing a apparition of Our Lady in a salt-water stain, but have no problem with finding demonic images in the smoke and dust emitted from the Twin Towers, or an image of a pale horse in the Gulf oil spill.

It’s enough to make one a Kelvinist:

      “that UFO’s are real”

About a year ago some friends were saying how they thought they were going crazy seeing UFOs and silent black triangles flying over their property at night. I couldn’t help laughing st them and told them they weren’t crazy, they live under restricted military airspace where they train drone pilots. “Why do you think I don’t fly over your house when I go flying?” I can fly there under 1,000 but they are right in the middle of it. At least they and their neighbors aren’t freaked out anymore. lol

I guess, in a way, until you told them, they really were seeing UFOs.

        • Psy

Most people here still think its UFO’s here. Last summer the local paper reported 2 glowing orb sightings over the ocean. The police said we saw it to and the military said it wasn’t them. Under the right atmospheric conditions they build up a static charge , my son goes to watch them practice at an area 20 minutes from here at night and has seen the static discharge but he’s never seen the orb effect. Apparently they’ve solved the problem and there haven’t been any more glowing orb reports.

          Raising Arizona:
Parole Board: You’re not just telling us what we want to hear?
          H.I.: No, sir, no way.
Parole Board: ‘Cause we just want to hear the truth.
H.I.: Well, then I guess I am telling you what you want to hear.
Parole Board: Boy, didn’t we just tell you not to do that?
          H.I.: Yes, sir.
          Parole Board: Okay, then.

Correction: It wasn’t Hal Lindsey, but the recently-deceased Dave Hunt I was thinking of. Hunt’s not Pentecostal, but Evangelical in the Plymouth Brethren vein. The first installment of his”documentary” on UFO’s is here:

And it’s available for purchase from Hunt’s website here:
(Note the subtitle: Space Travelers or Demonic Deceivers)

I don’t think these ideas originated with Hunt, but I haven’t been able to track down more explicit sources.

Hadn’t heard Dave Hunt died. Looks like it happened recently. God rest his soul.

You’re right, I never considered that theory. And I’m happy about that. Some things, I just don’t want to consider.
