Praise Report

The reader who wrote to ask prayer for the kidnapped boy in Central America writes:

Mark, Ben is free. I don’t know the whole story yet, but last I heard, he was in a hospital getting checked out. His mom says that it is clear that God was definitely visible in the sequence of events. I’ll let you know more later. Thanks!!!!! I am SO happy for their family. I cannot even imagine.

Thanks be to God through our Lord Jesus Christ!

As a little more feedback, you can go to http://sowers4pastors.blogspot.com/ where she’s currently got “part 1” of the sequence of events up on her blog. Her homeschooling friends have been badgering her relentlessly to know more about what happened; impatient, want-it-now-types (I speak as one of them, on a slightly chiller scale). The family is now asking for prayers for the kidnapper, that his change of heart be a thoroughgoing change of heart, deeper than just “not getting away” with his plan; he clearly has life issues if he resorted to something like he tried, and needs help on a daily life as well as a spiritual level.
