Donald Trump, who has appointed a SCOTUS justice who describes Roe v Wade as “settled law”, will today purchase Christianist approval for another five Planned Parenthood refundings, as well as for mass deportations, destruction of innocent families, lies in defense of porn star fornications (“He’s just like King David, and besides, I didn’t vote for a saint–and check out those sweet 30 pieces of silver in that tax deal!”), and denial of maternity benefits to poor women–all for an astonishingly cheap few empty words he phones in because he doesn’t want to stand next to them. Because “prolife” Trumpian Christianists are the biggest suckers on planet earth.
The blame for this does not, of course, go to Trump. He’s just being the predator he is. No. The blame for this goes to the March organizers and to the Christianist “prolife” liars and seducers who tell the faithful that this cynical liar is their champion and God Hero.
Will no one in that crowd ask him how many abortions he has forced his sexual conquests to have?
In an MSNBC interview with Chris Matthews, the formerly pro-choice Trump somehow managed to end up to the right of the National Right to Life Committee when he said that for women, but not men, “there has to be some form of punishment” if a President Trump makes abortion illegal.
….Given his draconian comment, sending women back to back alleys, I had to ask: When he was a swinging bachelor in Manhattan, was he ever involved with anyone who had an abortion?
“Such an interesting question,” he said. “So what’s your next question?”
Simcha Fisher has a good idea: “I urge everyone going to the March for Life to consider adding pro-immigrant or anti-racist slogan to your sign. Let people see he’s not what any sane person considers pro-life.”
My suggested sign: BE MORE PROLIFE, NOT LESS!
