Christian music will rock the theme parks again in 2018. Universal Orlando announced the lineup for its annual musical festival to be held September 7-8, 2018, at the Universal Studios theme park. The talent includes Jesus Culture, TobyMac, Lauren Daigle, Red, Zach Williams, Trip Lee, Casting Crowns, For King & Country, Family Force 5, Brandon Heath, Andy Mineo, and Ryan Stevenson.

The two-day event will also a FanZone with autograph sessions and additional live music as well as all the Universal Studios attractions such as Revenge of the Mummy, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and the all-new, high-octane ride, Fast & Furious – Supercharged, set to open this spring.

Last year’s Rock the Universe, which I attended, was an amazing event cut short by one day because of Hurricane Irma. Still, the Friday night lineup of Chris Tomlin, Kari Jobe, LaCrae, and Lauren Daigle, among others, was an awesome night of music. By the way, I also attended the very first Rock the Universe back in 1998. Yes, I’m old.
