SSF: “Mickey’s Trailer”

Having just completed our mostly-annual family “vacation” with roughly the same number of boys we had when we departed a couple of weeks ago, I’m putting this one firmly in the “Success” column. (Low bar, perhaps? Yeah, but an important one.)

Besides, I now know that Nathan (Son Number Seven) is a huge, HUGE fan of Red Vines. And all the other boys are huge, HUGE fans of playing the newest version of Pocket Edition Minecraft on the iPad. Regarding the first, we were fortunate to have a RV tub from Costco. Regarding the second, we have only one iPad. So…tempers ran somewhat high.

For some (“inexplicable,” he says hopefully) reason, though, I could not get “Mickey’s Trailer” out of my head the entire time. On the one hand, things went quite a bit better for Susanka and Co. than for Mickey and Co. On the other hand, there were enough similarities between the two adventures that I can’t dismiss them entirely. Make of that what you will. And enjoy:
