Sliced and Diced by a ‘stay-home’ mom!

I love this. Remember just yesterday, or the day before, I linked to a blog post about the value of educating women who plan to stay home and raise kids?

Well, take a gander at this piece in the Chicago Tribune, written by “Meg Kreikemeier, a stay-at-home mom and a former analyst for CNA Insurance”. Heh.

For so long, Democrats have criticized Republicans as the party of the rich, and they still do when discussing tax cuts, budget deficits and Social Security. However, Republicans have now become the party of dishonest slackers who don’t contribute to the federal government and yet make demands of it.

Republicans can’t be rich capitalists and people who don’t work at the same time.

So which is it? The answer, of course, is neither.

Go, Meg. Please continue to read as she slices, dices, purees and freeze-dries the overheated rhetoric of Lawrence O’ Donnell and Howard Dean.

And respect the “Stay at home” mothers. Not only are they educated and watching what’s going on…they’re also the ones picking your kids up from the school nurse when you can’t get there! :-)

Meg Kreikemeier wrote another brilliant piece a few months ago dissecting the phoney-baloney polls the media keeps on trotting out. She used her statisical background to shred that poll on who America wanted for a Pope, and what direction the Church should take.

How I love Conservative women! Just knowing they exist! Maybe one day the media will get a clue…Maybe when we have our first female President! Until then, thank God the internet came along and gave so many voices a chance to be heard!
