March for Life live blogging…

… I have arrived in DC and the vigil mass will begin shortly. Plans are tentative at the moment but I will be posting updates and pictures on facebook and twitter for those who follow.

The weather is abysmal, an icy 31 degrees. All the travelers and buses we passed on the way up and the thousands of pilgrims already here are fantastically braving the cold. Please pray for us.

I walked in San Francisco on Saturday and the weather was very cold and windy but the rain disappeared after we got off of the bus. Fr. Frank Pavone was there among the speakers but he didn’t speak. His presence was noted and cheered and applauded. I was so impressed by the number of young people there who were so enthusiastic. This was my first time walking even though I have been a supporter for over 30 years. I will gladly go again if need be next year and until there is no need. God bless you and all those who are faithful to the cause.
    In Christ, Jean
