Avoid the horror of arriving to mass early…

… You know us Catholics are infamous for never showing up to mass on time. This is a gentle reminder to turn back your clocks this evening unless you want to arrive at mass insanely early and be forced to bide your time be praying the rosary or something.

I always arrive at mass early :-) it is quiet, and I can pray without being distracted. It serves to get me spiritually focused so that I am attuned to hearing the service and the readings on a deeper level. I go to mass nearly every weekday when I can and the early service on Sundays. I am always early, but I am rarely the first. There is just something really special about an almost empty church, have always loved it !

Pre-kids I would arrive about a half hour early, for prayer time. Now, with kids, we still get there early, but not that early. I love the look on the faces of people who arrive early, then remember it’s “Fall back”. :)

I was still late. Lucky me the side chapel was open and me and my youngest snagged a seat in the back corner. Didn’t want to disrupt the WHOLE church.
