Magical Clip from ‘Beasts of the Southern Wild’

Beasts of the Southern Wild won accolades and the top award at the Sundance Film Festival.

Here’s why.

I’ve seen the film and loved it. This is probably my favorite scene.

Hush Puppy lives with her daddy in the “Bathtub,” a vibrant, strong, and independent community in the Delta in Louisiana. It’s a beautiful, dreamy movie that plays as a love song to the Katrina-struck region. But rising waters, the ill health of her daddy, and prehistoric monsters threaten Hush Puppy’s world.
