525px-Fed_ReserveA conversation with Ben Zoba, Part 2 of 5

In this second of five installments of my conversation with farmer and community activist, Ben Zoba, he discusses the irregularities associated with the formation of the Federal Reserve Bank in 1913 — which is run by a contingent of private bankers who wield sole control over the ebb and flow of economies worldwide.

Ben sees this control, and its debilitating effects on citizens, as a singular attack on fundamental institutions, most notably the family.

As noted in Part 1 of this series, Ben does not presume to be an expert on the intricacies of these matters. But he speaks knowledgeably as a man under conviction. He believes that what is at stake under the current money system –which often adversely affects so many — is a gospel issue affecting the spiritual and cultural development of societies and their citizens.

In this discussion Ben refers to a clandestine meeting in 1910 on Jekyll Island, Georgia, when private bankers fashioned the system that, three years later became law the Federal Reserve Act, passed by congress on Dec. 23, 1913.

Through these conversations Ben hopes to open up a conversation, and explore and consider a new way toward creative possibilities for the way we “do” money.
