Patheos Launches Atheist Portal

Forum for atheist/humanist community debuts with Friendly Atheist,

Unreasonable Faith and Unequally Yoked

DENVER—October 26, 2011—Patheos.com, the world's premier online destination for global dialogue on religion and spirituality, today announced the launch of a site section covering atheism and humanism.

"You can't have a conversation about religious belief in today's world without including non-believers," said Leo Brunnick, Patheos CEO. "As Patheos increasingly becomes the central destination on the web to discuss religious belief, I'm very proud that we have a rapidly growing atheist portal to challenge the idea of belief itself."

The first three blogs to debut on the Patheos Atheist Portal are:

  1. Friendly Atheist, by Hemant Mehta
  2. Unreasonable Faith, by Daniel Florien
  3. Unequally Yoked, by Leah Libresco
