Hello from the Other Side

You can’t go anywhere and not hear Adele’s newest song, “Hello”. I was meditating one day when the song came on a station and I actually listened while in my ‘zen’ state. Although it’s believed the premise of the song is of a past love that has since moved on, possibly across country, that’s not what I heard.

Hello from the other side

I must have called a thousand times
To tell you I’m sorry for everything that I’ve done
But when I call you never seem to be home

How many times have you called on your loved one who has passed away? No, not telephonically. Your loved one is just a thought away. You can talk to them in your head (telepathically) or even out loud, whatever you feel comfortable with. When my mom passed away, almost 10 years ago in January, I was working in the corporate world, and I set her up an email account. When things came up that I needed to chat with her about, I would email her. Although I knew she wasn’t receiving the emails, just writing the email was therapeutic and I was still including her in my life. Every Monday I would give her a list of things I needed help with. It was amazing how there was always resolution, sometimes in the most unexpected ways. It helped me stay present. It helped me stay connected.

Are you calling on your loved ones on the other side? Are you picking up on their signals and symbols as they call on you? I ask these questions in my lectures and the majority says no, which is why I wrote “It’s a Wonderful Afterlife”, to help with those connections. Recently I received a phone call from a Methodist minister in New York who was gifted the book. He was also a chaplain for a hospital near him and asked if he could use the messages and meditations in the book with his parish. Of course I said of course. He shared the many divine signs that he himself had received and it made me smile. You don’t have to be spiritual, religious, new age, wiccan, pagan or whatever to have a direct connection to the other side – you simply have to pick up the phone to make the call and to pick up the phone when you hear it ringing. And say HELLO.
