LAPD Receives Record Number of Calls During Super Bowl Halftime Show

Inglewood, CA – The Los Angeles Police Department received over 150 calls during a 15-minute span yesterday, most of which were noise complaints. The callers, all white men and women between the ages of 50 and 80, we not happy about “loud, obnoxious music” coming from SoFi Stadium.

“It was absolute chaos yesterday,” said dispatcher Juan Rodriguez. “Generally, it’s pretty consistent, but I had seen nothing like this before. ‘Loud music’ this, ‘Hooligans’ that. It was disturbing how snowflakey these folks were. I tried to tell them there’s a Super Bowl Halftime show going on, but they weren’t having it. All of them wanted to speak to my manager, but that’s not how 9-11 works.”

We caught up with one caller, Peggy Karinson, who was not all too pleased with the LAPD.

“Yeah, I called them. Last I checked, that’s my right to do so, as an American citizen. I heard that music before, but I shouldn’t have to. I even heard some singer – they ain’t singing, but whatever – called M&Ms was kneeling down, showing disrespect for this country! And they got a doctor who’s not really a doctor? Ridiculous.”

Of course, Mrs. Karinson was referring to hip-hop legend, Eminem, kneeling while Dr. Dre played his iconic hit “Still D.R.E.”

It remains to be seen whether the boomers of Los Angeles will make any more complaints about this show, but if the content on Fox News is any indication, this story isn’t over just yet.
