Good Conversations And Fine Fellowship

Good Conversations And Fine Fellowship April 20, 2022

For roughly 8 years, I’ve been spending one day a week at my best friend’s house, sitting around a firepit, smoking some herb and drinking whiskey (now water since I’ve been alcohol-free for over a year now), and chatting about life. Michael and I have grown a garden together, only to watch it burn to the ground in the Camp Fire. Now, we’ve built it back, bigger and better than before. I’ve watched Michael get diagnosed with colon cancer, and then have successful surgery and chemo, all in the midst of the COVID crisis. He’s been there for me when I came out bi.

And now, we have our 5th installment of The Bonfire Sessions series of booklets coming out today. In this booklet, we again chat about the big ideas of life. But it’s not necessarily the content of the conversations that are the highlight – though we do think they are relevant and topical – it’s the modeling of what it means to have a good conversation. Sometimes we are funny, sometimes profound, but we always consider the company we are in and we believe that should make for a good model for anyone who reads these.

So please, pick up The Bonfire Sessions: Second Spring today. It’s only available on Kindle, and is only 99 cents. (Don’t worry, as always, the 4-part collection will be in paperback, and will be out a year from now, after all the Sessions are complete.)
