You Are Fearfully And Wonderfully Made

Hey guys — well, you really all came through!

Last month was Down Syndrome Awareness Month and I asked you to submit your photos to me of loved ones with Down Syndrome who have impacted your life.

The response was overwhelming.

Thank you for all of your e-mails. Here are some of the gorgeous people who are blessing your lives — and now mine! Your photos remind me of these verses from Psalm 139:

For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

By the way, that message is for all of us — you don’t have to have Down Syndrome to realize God created you with care. 🙂
