I wish you all of your could see the Iron Dog race starting! It is always so much fun to load up and travel to see Dad off.
Here’s a cute photo of Sailor and I at the Iron Dog start! She loved the snow and loved watching papa! So thankful she’s able to be in places like Alaska – the most beautiful place in the world… She’s got Alaska in her blood, no matter what.
The 2018 Iron Dog finishes in Fairbanks on February 24th. While Dad is gone, I know it is super stressful for all of the families of the participants as they wait for word on their loved ones. It’s not the tamest race ever invented. Sometimes the participants put duct tape on their faces to protect them from the cold! Anyway, it’s a unique race and I’m so glad that my kids to see their grandfather in action!
