Mom posted this one on Instagram. (Make sure you follow her! And me too!) She wrote about my little brother being able to go to Alyeska Resort, one of Alaska’s year-round destinations located just 40 miles from Anchorage. She wrote, “Field trip for Trig today!!! Special Needs Teachers are a combo of Superman, Captain America, Wonderwoman & Mother Theresa… thank you teachers & coaches!”
I couldn’t agree with a sentiment more! Sometimes it’s daunting when you have a family member who has special needs. I understand how people sometimes feel intimidated at the idea of dealing with special challenges day in and out. Believe me. However, it’s nice when you find people who are willing to come alongside you and help with the big and small things. That’s what I’ve been taught through our experience with Trig. People’s kind heartedness goes a long, long way. Thanks to all of the people who make better for him!
