I guess on Mother’s Day, it’s still okay to give a shout out to my dad too! The truth is, I’m very thankful to have both a loving mom and super cool dad, too. This is a photo my mom posted to Instagram of her and Dad during their “Alaska Spring.”
It reminds me of this quote from the Golden Girls. “It’s not easy being a mother. If it were, fathers would do it.” Ha! However, I think my dad has braided enough hair that this doesn’t apply to him!
On Instagram, my mom wrote back under my Happy Mother’s Day post, “aww thank you Bri ~ we miss you very much! Love you more than life itself ~ happy Mother’s Day to YOU!!”
“It may be possible to gild pure gold,” Mahatma Gandhi said. “But who can make his mother more beautiful?” This is definitely true of my mom!
