‘I Was 17 and a Junior in High School’ – 4 Photos that Fill Me with Gratitude

Ten years ago this week – my life took the biggest possible turn. I was seventeen years old and a junior in high school when I got pregnant. I have to admit, I was scared. It took hearing your heartbeat for a positive pregnancy test to really mean anything to me. and took holding you in my arms to realize my life was going to be changed forever. I am so thankful for God’s plan over our life, and His grace that has covered us entirely. My kids truly are my biggest blessing.

Since I’ve started being more public about my life, I’ve gotten much positive feedback. In fact, I got this note, which really touched me:

“Hey Bristol, I have no idea if you remember me, but I met you last year right when I found out I was pregnant. I honestly believe that if it weren’t for you I would’ve had an abortion. You have become somewhat of a hero to me. Hearing your story has encouraged me to fight and try to create a good life for my son. Just wanted to send some thanks and stay strong!”
