Charged by the Goddess: An Anniversary and Looking Back

Charged by the Goddess: An Anniversary and Looking Back September 29, 2019

I realized today that I’ve missed my one year anniversary date for this blog: September 17.

This is an anniversary I want to acknowledge. It is a moment I want to celebrate, albeit a little later than expected.

In this year, I’ve written about the moon, self care, love spells, daily magick, the godds, the sabbats, the esbats, and random blogs to inspire myself into action or rest.

I’ve come into the idea that I am charged by the goddess (and many godds) to share ideas and random thoughts. I’ve come to understand that sometimes things that call out to be written are things I (and others) most need to hear.

What’s Coming Next

I have no idea. I tend to write when I’m inspired to write something. Often, it’s a moment or a feeling or a magick that seeks me. What I do know is that I want to write about the moon, about the love spell of life, about the way magick and mundane are intertwined, about the ways we are stronger together, and about the ways that the heart is the source of your power.

But what I most want to say right now is thank you. Thank you for coming to this blog. Thank you for reading. Thank you for commenting and thank you for listening.

In love and magick,

About Irisanya Moon
I’m a Witch. I’m a writer. I’m a priestess, teacher, drummer, feminist, and initiate in the Reclaiming tradition. I serve the gods, my community, and the Earth. I’ve called myself a Witch for nearly 20 years, and my life has been infused with magick. I am interested in shifting stories – the ones we tell ourselves and the ones that are told about us. I’m continuously inspired to engage as the storyteller and the story, the words and the spaces between. I am a devotee of Aphrodite, Hecate, the Norns, and Iris. I seek to find love and to inspire love by reminding us we are not alone, while also meeting myself at the crossroads, holding the threads of life, and bringing down messages from the gods. I am a Witch. You can read more about the author here.
