Even though he didn’t invent it, the Seattle Seahawks Stanford-educated cornerback, Richard Sherman, smartly pwnd the phrased “U Mad Bro?” against Tom Brady.
Unfortunately Brady learned his lesson and didn’t throw at Sherman during the Superbowl. I know, it was a little bit deflating.
However, in Catholic circles there’s something new on the rise. It’s a webpage called The Mad Papist. Here’s how it bills itself:
Welcome to The Mad Papist: mankind’s #1 source for Catholic and traditionalist merchandise. We make wisdom wearable, so that you can pay homage to your favorite popes, prophets, poets, and pariahs. We do t-shirts, coffee mugs, bumper stickers, and art prints, taking inspiration from various figures ranging from St. Thomas Aquinas to G.K. Chesterton. Take a look around and enjoy! We’re adding new products every day, so don’t forget to follow us and keep up!
Yeah, I know there’s some counterintuitive commercialism going on here, but I find it hard to resist truly clever designs like these:
Speaking of Heidegger, did you know he never stopped being a Catholic?
Denys Turner should be your go-to-guy on the darkness of the apophatic God.
