Professional liar David Barton says he has signed a contract to create a government textbook that will “have a lot of God in it” but will meet the curriculum standards in every state so it can be used in public school classrooms. Yeah, good luck with that.
I find Glenn Beck’s delusions of grandeur highly entertaining. He’s frequently informing us that he is only doing what God has commanded him to do. He also flatters his audience, telling them that they are the last vanguard who can save America.
Glenn Beck and his buddy David Barton continue to disagree on which candidate God wants you to vote for in November. Barton says God will get you if you don’t vote for Trump, and now Glenn Beck says that if Jesus himself were here, he would tell him not to vote for either candidate.
Professional liar David Barton has played games continually over his credentials. Sometimes he says he has a PhD, sometimes he lets others say it for him, sometimes he admits he doesn’t. At a conference last weekend, he outright declared that he has one.
Glenn Beck, who absolutely despises Donald Trump and even says God will punish you if you vote for him, says that the campaign’s hiring of Stephen Bannon is the perfect opportunity for Republicans to jump off the Trump bandwagon and withdraw their support.

It has been widely reported that the Trump campaign spent no money on data mining or to build a mailing list during the primaries, so they’re still scrambling to get emails to send out fundraising messages. And now they’ve had to buy Glenn Beck’s mailing list. Beck, who despises Trump, is mocking him for it.
David Barton, who ran Ted Cruz’ Super PAC for him, now says that if you don’t vote for Donald Trump, God will probably punish you for it. So I wonder if he told Cruz that after he very pointedly refused to endorse Trump during the Republican National Convention?
Glenn Beck is worried that Donald Trump is falling further and further behind and that Hillary Clinton might win — even though he swears Trump is practically the embodiment of evil — and he wants Mitt Romney to jump in as an alternative in case Trump’s campaign comes apart:
Donald Trump will join Marco Rubio in addressing the “Rediscovering God in America” rally put on by David Lane’s American Renewal Project. Lane will apparently be interviewing Trump on stage at the event, where he intends to ask Trump how he will deal with “homosexual totalitarianism.” He will be joining a Who’s Who of anti-gay bigots:
Glenn Beck had his buddy David Barton on his show Friday and again, for the umpteenth time, claimed that Barton has a doctorate in education. That prompted this very weird conversation where Barton at first seems to be coy about it, then agrees that he has one.
Marcus and Joni is a popular Christian TV show, but co-host Marcus Lamb is not exactly a Rhodes scholar. On a recent show with televangelist con man James Robison on, he told the audience that the Supreme Court ended slavery. That will come as news to any high school history student.
