Okay, I get it. It can be tough to fill a radio show for two or three hours every day and you’re often having to comment spontaneously on political issues. But Bryan Fischer offered up one of the most idiotic things I’ve ever heard, even by his own low standards. He says that the point of Obama’s new executive orders on background checks to buy a gun is to deny guns to those who deny the reality of climate change.

Fischer’s Conveniently Hypocritical Argument on Muslims and God

Fischer: Islam is ‘the Ebola Virus of Culture’

Bryan Fischer apparently has a very short memory. After spending considerable time and energy criticizing President Obama for not shutting off travel from countries having Ebola epidemics, he now says that Trump is right to want to ban all Muslim immigration because Islam is the “Ebola virus of culture.” And we should shut it down…just like we did travel from those countries with an Ebola outbreak?

Fischer Blames the Abortion Clinic Killings on…Pot!

Fischer: America’s Purpose Is to Proselytize

Bryan Fischer seems to have a very difficult time distinguishing between church and state. Since he’s a theocrat who thinks they are the same thing, this is hardly a surprise. On a pre-Thanksgiving show, he declared that God created the United States for the sole purpose of spreading the gospel of Christ to the entire world. Apparently we do that by supporting dictators and raping and pillaging the resources of other countries.

Fischer Prays to Stop Obama from Listening to Satan

Fischer Supports Bigoted Utah Judge

Bryan Fischer is strongly supporting that bigoted Utah judge who removed a baby from foster parents because they’re lesbian, because of course he has. This is a man who still thinks gay people should be put in jail or forced “gay reversion” therapy, so of course he thinks they shouldn’t be allowed to be parents. Personally, I’d much rather have a child with a gay couple than with a Christian fascist like him.

Fischer Freaks Out Over New DOJ Position

As noted previously, the Department of Justice has a new position, a domestic terrorism counsel, to track and respond to domestic groups that have engaged in terrorism (the Army of God, KKK, Aryan Nation, anti-abortion extremists, radical animal rights activists, radical environmentalists, etc) and the Christian is losing their minds over it. Fischer: ‘Gay Gestapo’ Has Bullied the Pope!

I haven’t written anything about the pope’s alleged meeting with Kim Davis because, frankly, I don’t understand why anyone would care at all. He’s an anti-gay bigot, so is she — a meeting would hardly be surprising. I do find it funny how the Vatican is now scrambling to change the story, but I really don’t care. I do care about Bryan Fischer claiming that the pope has been intimidated into denying the nature of the meeting by the “gay gestapo.”

Fischer Again Demands All Immigrants Convert to Christianity

Fischer Wants Bunning Impeached for Religious Test for Office

Bryan Fischer is repeating the absolutely bizarre and nonsensical argument coming from the dumber corners of the Christian right that requiring Christian government officials to do their job and apply the law equally as the Constitution requires is the same thing as establishing a religious test for office. And he thinks Judge David Bunning should be impeached for having imposed one on Kim Davis.
