The latest bit of stupid and crazy from Bryan Fischer is his claim that the income tax is “flatly unconstitutional.” He says, “The only authority they have (the IRS) is to collect taxes on income, which is dividend income and capital gains income, that is all that is authorized by the 16th Amendment.” Hmmm. Let’s look at the text:
Far right nut Bryan Fischer isn’t actually talking to even further-right nut Gary North, a genuine Christian Reconstructionist, but there’s a clear disagreement between them over the Constitution. Fischer, on a recent radio show, claimed that the U.S. Constitution was really a covenant with God.
You can always count on Bryan Fischer to be both utterly irrational and vastly hyperbolic in his statements about any situation, especially if it involves Obama. Now he says that the new contraception policy is the equivalent of Muslim armies invading Christian nations and forcibly converting them.
This may be one of the funniest things Bryan Fischer has ever said. He’s defending Rick Santorum’s many loopy statements, especially about the existence of Satan, and he says that if you’re attacking Santorum, you’re attacking Jesus himself:

How long can the AFA continue to censor Bryan Fischer’s more insane statements without him leaving the organization? They’ve pulled several of his crazier columns before and now they’ve pulled one of his posts attacking Newt Gingrich, likely because Don Wildom has endorsed Gingrich. Right Wing Watch reports:
