Glenn Beck took a call on his radio show from a young girl who said she supported Ted Cruz because he uses the Bible as his compass. Beck then delivered a weird, ahistorical diatribe about how you didn’t need to use God as a compass because the founding fathers did so when they wrote the Constitution.

Glenn Beck has some rather odd ideas about the Constitution, to say the least, as does the man he supports for president, Ted Cruz. Beck seems to think that Cruz, by directing his vice president to preside over the Senate, can effectively control that body as well as the White House. He isn’t even close.

This has happened many times and it never stops making me laugh. Glenn Beck picks up on some little “fact” and goes off on a rant about it, then he gets debunked by his own website. This time he went off about George Soros donating money to John Kasich’s Super PAC to sow chaos at the Republican convention. Then The Blaze reported that Soros didn’t donate a dime.

Glenn Beck is not buying those stories and rumors about Ted Cruz allegedly having multiple affairs on his wife, nosiree. He’s absolutely positive that Cruz could not possibly have done that because he’s been aiming his entire life to be president and there’s no way he would mess that up.

Rafael Cruz isn’t the only one who thinks his son Ted was chosen and “anointed” by God to lead America and “save” it from whatever boogeymen they’ve invented in their heads who are allegedly destroying it. Glenn Beck thinks the same thing. This was said in reaction to a Christian professor saying Cruz has not been anointed:

Glenn Beck, aka the Oracle of Moroni, has put on his prophet hat again. This time he’s predicting an “economic collapse of Biblical proportions” for Europe and the United States. But good luck trying to understand his convoluted explanation for why this is going to happen. It’s mostly gibberish.

Shoebat the Elder — Walid, the fake “ex-terrorist” who is as much a Christian fascist as his son Theodore — has an absolutely bizarre, incoherent screed arguing that Glenn Beck is possessed by demons and that he and Ted Cruz are working to bring about the Antichrist, who is of course a Muslim.

We’ve all heard some bad post hog arguments, but Glenn Beck just delivered one that will just leave you scratching your head. In a bizarre, meandering diatribe about why we must vote for Ted Cruz to save the country, he claims that the Constitution is responsible for technological advancements more than a century later.

In Mormonism, the White Horse Prophecy is an alleged declaration from Joseph Smith that someday the Constitution would be hanging by a thread and Mormons will step forward to save the country. While campaigning in Utah, Glenn Beck has been telling Mormon voters there that they can fulfill that prophecy by voting for Ted Cruz.

Glenn Beck was campaigning for Ted Cruz in Utah, home to millions of his fellow Mormons, and as usual he found a way to get all dramatic and start weeping. This time it was over a young boy who has been fasting because, for some weird reason, he thinks it will help get Cruz elected. Beck declared, “This is the priesthood rising!”

When Glenn Beck decides he supports something or someone, there is simply no limit to how hyperbolic his rhetoric or how melodramatic his bad acting will get. He’s now put those junior high drama club skills to work for Ted Cruz, telling his followers that if they don’t do everything they can to get him elected, they’ll have blood on their hands.

Glenn Beck did his usual junior high drama club overacting while pulling out the trusty ol’ blackboard to explain once again that he’s a prophet and that because God has been using him as a messenger for the last 20 years, his audience will the ones credited with saving America.
