Honestly, I should have my blogging privileges removed for that negative post yesterday! I’m a little well rested & feeling better today.
Anyway, a couple of my friends sent me this link to a very sweet Mothers day message, which you can find here.
I ended up having a great Mommy’s Day weekend
~baking, frosting & enjoying a chocolate cake with Ransom
~playing Candyland with Ransom (I won, wohoo! 🙂
~taking a long walk with Ransom while he rode his bike, which he now loves
~ painting small wooden trains with Ransom
-going to bed early! 🙂
This morning, Dave & Ransom took me out to breakfast at Bob Evans & then we played together at a local park. Now my hubby took Ransom to visit Grandma & Grandpa B & I have a night to myself to rest.
The BEST parts of this day? There are 2 actually… 1) This morning when I woke up, I was 99.9% sure I could feel the baby moving. That was nice since I’ve yet to feel very emotionally bonded to this baby. But those little flutters helped me to realize that I am really excited to meet this little one. However, AS SOON as we learn the sex of the baby I told Dave we HAVE to name it ASAP. Otherwise, I just keep feeling like this little blob is causing me all sorts of issues. This child needs an identity! I’m certain a name will help me to love it a little more. (It’s sort of sad to me since when I was preggo with Ransom I felt instantly bonded to him… I don’t know if this is a phase of life thing or a #2 thing?!?!)
Anyway 2) Dave gave me a wonderful Mother’s Day gift: he cleaned out all the puke out of the car, since a few days ago I started ralphing in the cupholders while I was going 55mph -talk about a distracted driver! I couldn’t even get close to cleaning it out without gagging. And today, when I tried I threw up all over the driveway. My sweet hubby took care of the whole thing for me ~ with a little complaining but hey, I was glad to have puke-free cup-holders again.
Happy Mother’s Day, Ladies! 🙂
