Cool & Not Cool.

Cool & Not Cool.

Cool:

I googled myself the other day.  The “Grace Biskie” self, that is.  I have a whole other google identity under “Gracee Biskie,” my previous alias.  (If your wondering, I’ve also been Gracie, Grace’ & Grayce in previous lifetimes).

Anyway, I found that a post I wrote for Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil’s blog was re-posted on the Jim Wallis’ God’s Politics blog, which is a part of Soujourners magazine!  It was posted April 30, 2010, but I still reserve the right to be excited! 🙂

Not Cool:

When I googled myself I also found out that some dude named James Mizzell is running an animal collectible website under the URL http://www.gracebiskie.com, called “Grace’s Animal Collectibles.”  How lame is that?   I previously owned www.gracEEbiskie.com but switched to the now more user friendly, gabbingwithgrace.com.

Shouldn’t there be some kind of law that says you can’t just use someone’s name to make an animal collectible website?  I contacted him about it to say ahem, I am the REAL & ONLY (and frankly the rightful owner) of any such gracebiskie.com, but he ignored me. 🙁  Can I sue him or something?  I don’t like this at all.  Can I evict him from using my likeness?

There is ONE Grace Biskie in the entire world! Trust me, I've looked into it. The "Biskie's" are a rare breed. Accept no substitutions, the real Grace Biskie would rather poke her eyes out then sell animal collectibles & has a big fro.

I just don’t like the idea of someone googling me and thinking I’m running an animal collectible business on the side.  Eck.

You win some, you lose some, eh?  All’s fair in love & google I guess,

p.s. Don’t forget YOU can still win one of the McDonald’s prize packs or win a 16×20 rolled canvas print from Uprinting.com.  With only two comments on each, you have a GREAT chance!
