Paula Deen’s New Faith-Themed Book Might Not Come Out This Year

In case you’ve been on a remote island this week, you probably heard that celebrity chef Paula Deen has been let go from the Food Network after admitting to using the N-word and making other racist comments. But my personal favorite little tidbit – besides the butter-flavored lip balm she sells at her restaurant – is the fact that her upcoming book, Paula Deen: New Testament, may not come out in October as originally planned. Deen has already released a memoir and several successful cookbooks, so I’m guessing this new title was a continuation of her autobiography with more recent life events included. And probably some Jesus. Who was black.
