2. The Republican party will find itself totally divided with endless in-fighting.

Republicans may have won the White House, but I predict they’re in for a wild ride. Donald Trump was not who the party wanted, did not have support of many republican leaders, and among those who did support him, many did so with their noses plugged.

Donald Trump has not, and will not forget this. He’s already black-listing people who did not support him during the campaign, and will show absolutely no loyalty to anyone in his own party who did not get behind him early. When you combine this with his inconsistent values, Trump becomes nothing more than a loose cannon. (We saw the first signs of this the other day when he insisted that his new healthcare plan would provide insurance for everyone, which is not what the party wanted.)

The result is that while republicans will have the White House, they will not be happy about it– because there will be so much disunity between the party and their leader, that it will be four years of frustration, disarray, betrayal, and inefficiency.
