After great effort, we paid down one of our credit cards by half. Whereupon we received a few days ago a notice that the bank that issues the card–which received a massive taxpayer bailout–is raising our interest rate by 4%!
Does it make me a liberal if I support congressional efforts to reform the credit card industry?
