“How do you find God in the dark?” I’ve gotten this question countless times, since publishing From Pastor to Psych Ward. I was recently interviewed by Will Maule, Editor of HelloChristian. If you haven’t checked out their site before, you’re missing out! In our interview, Will asked me something similar and my answer may not be what you expect.

Will asked me several great questions and I may have overloaded him with my answers (oops).

Here’s a few of Will’s questions…

1. Could you tell me why you wanted to kill yourself? How did your life get to a point you felt like suicide was the only option?
2. Why are so many people frightened of dealing with those who suffer from mental illness? How can the Church reduce the stigma?
3. What has Jesus said to you throughout the dark periods of your life, and how has he impacted your life as you’ve moved forward into a season of healing?
