Carl Blue-

Carl Henry Blue

“We all have to die to get to heaven.”

When I think about heaven, I think about the overwhelming and intoxicating embrace of love. Sometimes, I think we get glimpses of extravagant love on earth. Regardless of when we are talking, I don’t think love comes without death. We have to die to our self in order to be able to love anything else. We have to die to our self in order to experience the full love of God. Carl Blue knew about love and wanted to share his knowledge of love in his final moments. Love won in his life and love will win in all of our lives if we stop holding on to the illusions of control and embrace the limitless power of love.

I invite you to pray the last words of Carl Blue:

“We all have to die to get to heaven.”

Amen.
