Love Dangerously Dallas

Everybody wants to talk about love these days…but no one wants to talk about sacrifice.  Everybody wants to talk about the love of Jesus…but nobody wants to talk about how embracing the love of Jesus leads to death.  Everyone wants to talk about falling in love…but no one wants to talk about the need to jump off the cliff and sacrifice your self in order to experience it.  Love is dangerous.  You do not know whether you are going to get hurt.  You do not know whether someone is going to break your heart.  You do not know anything…but still we love.  Why friends?  Why take the risk?

There are times in which we mimic the divine.  Love is one such time.  God loved us without knowing whether we would break God’s heart.  Jesus died for us without knowing whether anyone would ever embrace the love of Jesus.  When we love we take an enormous risk…but love is always worth the risk.  For love is the only thing that is eternal.  Love is the only thing that pulls us out of our selves and takes us to the eternal place where God dwells.  1 John 4:8 declares that God is love.  So go and make some God my friends…go and make some love.  Live dangerously…believe in all love…take the risk of sacrifice…Love dangerously Dallas.
