The new movie, Muppets Most Wanted, is premiering today in theaters near you. In it, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy get married! CMON! Does that change everything? They almost got married in 1984 in The Muppets Take Manhattan.
I guess it makes sense since they’ve had a relationship for forty years. Miss Piggy says, “we’re the ultimate love story in Hollywood.” And Kermit chimes in, “We’ve outlasted everyone in Hollywood.” How will it be now for Hollywood’s #1 power couple? Move over Brad and Angelina Jolie.
Kermit always said, “It’s not easy being green.” Jesus said of marriage, “the two shall become one.” What color do you get when you mix green and pink? Orange-tinted brown. That’s a common color. Maybe Kermit will then say, “it’s easy being brown.”
Best wishes Mr. Kermit and Mrs. Piggy. Can we get used to not calling her Miss Piggy anymore? I still don’t know how that works: a frog and a pig together. I wonder if they’ll have kids: maybe pigs with frog legs. Will they squeal or croak?
