A reader writes:

About 10 days ago I asked the Prayer Warriors to pray for my sister Giovanna who was going in for surgery. Yesterday afternoon they removed a small tumor from her breast and said that she would have to receive some radiotherapy (radiation therapy). I spoke to her yesterday after the operation and she was in good spirits.

Thanks for the prayers folks and please keep them coming as their are also a lot of young mothers in that hospital who need our prayer help.

Blessed be the names of Jesus and Mary.

Thanks be to God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Father, hear our continued prayer for her and all the other women through the same Christ our Lord. Mother Mary, St. Luke and St. Peregrine, pray for them.

Another reader writes:

Please pray for healing for my teenaged son. He has a debilitating and undiagnosed medical condition.

Father, hear our prayer for his complete healing, for wisdom, skill and compassion for his caregivers, and for grace, peace and strength for his mother and all who love him. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for him. St. Peter Julian Eymard, pray for him.

A reader writes:

Please pray for my wife Kim and I was we prepare to undergo surgery on Tuesday. She needs a new kidney and, by God’s providence, I am a match. Pray that all goes well in surgery and we have a rapid recovery. St. Benedict, patron against kidney disease, pray for us!

Father, grant them both a successful surgery and complete healing. Give their caregivers wisdom, skill and compassion. Give them and all who love them grace, peace, and strength. Thank you for this man’s courage and generosity. Bless them both with a deeper and more grateful love for you and each other. Mother Mary, St. Benedict, and St Luke, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Another reader writes:

Prayers for Andrew. His son has disowned him and he is dying (i mean lost in his own mind, swollen and covered in sores in hospice now kind of dying.) He apparently has lived a hard life judging from the taser marks I found and his only lucid words being “gimme a drink” over and over.

Father and savior of Lazarus, hear the cry of the poor and bring him into the light of your presence in your mercy and pity. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Mother Mary, pray for him and for my reader who cares for him.
