Some of my writing goals for 2019 are to create events offline for Muslim writers to meet, network, and collaborate on projects throughout the year. Of course, the American Muslim fiction anthology will also be a big project for me in the new year, enshallah.

I think it’s important for us to take the time to write together and collect our narratives to present to the mainstream writing community from time to time. I have some other projects that I’ve completed this year and I really hope to get them published as well.
