No Longer Quivering

Editor’s note: Get your forks and salad dressing out as this is some of the craziest sounding word salad I’ve seen in quite some time from the poison pen of Debi Pearl. To boil the entire thing down it seems to be saying that allowing structure, rules and laws into the homeschooling movement has lead to unmarried adult daughters at home and whole families becoming involved in pornography. Random selections from the article are below. Of course Debi never explains how they fell into porn or dope smoking, she just accuses them of doing so.
Many young people who grew up during the Law Makers years did well and are now strong leaders. But tragically, some of their adult daughters are still at home waiting. Young men hunting for a godly wife found it less stressful to pass over the daughters of Law Makers and marry outside the “group.” The demanding rules and regulations of courtship seemed effeminate and overly processed. Many young men said, “I don’t want to court the daddy.”…
…..Sadly, some of the most disciplined homes fell prey to pornography—Daddy, Mother, sons, and daughters are all fodder for the porn industry—the most effective tool the devil has ever used to corrupt souls. With the descent into secret sin, hypocrisy becomes as common as perfume on a prostitute…..
….Way too many Excel at All Cost kids possess few convictions. These children are educated, mostly lazy, and often snobs. They feel privileged and special and have no fear of God, so that many dabble in smoking dope and viewing questionable movies and porn. Though they are at the center of the Christian culture, they have little interest in God’s Word and no passion to reach the lost….
