This article in the Huffington Post brings up an interesting point I had not considered. That new mothers commit suicide in higher numbers than one might think. It flies in the face of all the claims of Quiverfull female cultural enforcers like Nancy Campbell and Lori Alexander about the joyous bliss of babies.

Wonder what the rates of suicide are after birth in Quiverfull mothers considering with a huge flock of children the demands might be overwhelming. At least for those women without the support staff of elder daughters like Jana Duggar to pick up the workload.
