Yesterday People magazine published the usual Duggar post-birth story for the youngest Duggar bride Joy-Anna. It contained a big shocker – Joy-Anna’s biggest fear was a c-section. Not worry about delivering a live baby, or worry about the pain levels, just that she avoid a surgical procedure even her own mother has undergone.
After a twenty hour home labor attended by a midwife it was determined that Joy-Anna was laboring with a breech baby and needed to be transported to the hospital for, you guessed it, a c-section.

Yesterday there was enormous discussion of this on various message boards and NLQ’s Facebook page. Thoughts?
Seems to me that the majority of the second generation Duggar’s births have been more fraught with problems than average. Why is that?

To the Duggar fan that keeps emailing me. Please use the search function on the site. We have covered the Duggars for years now. I am not ignorant of them.
