Marital Sex Stops Porn Usage?

She whose name we do not mention here has been busy lately with post after post of how she thinks feminism has wrecked the country. This time she thinks that the nature of feminism has caused sexual perversions and men to turn to porn and prostitution.

“God didn’t give men high sex drives so they could watch porn and masturbate, commit fornication with multiple women, or delve into homosexuality and pedophilia. No, God gave men high sex drives so they would want to marry and be fruitful and multiply. Many women will bemoan the fact that there are no good men left because they have all gone astray, therefore, there isn’t anyone for them to marry. The problem stems from feminism. When women stopped being feminine and doing what God calls them to do, men stopped being masculine and doing what God calls them to do.”

She asks her Red Pill/MGTOW/Incel Nation readers to respond and we get this steaming load of used coffee grounds not rooted in reality.

Guy 1 – “It’s both. It’s our nature to have the higher sex drive. God gave us marriage so we can take that energy and channel it into being fruitful and multiplying. Without marriage and with birth control, our sex drive very quickly leads to degeneracy and hedonism.”

Guy 2 – “No, it’s not the only reason, but we are made to procreate. Marriage is a healthy way to express procreation with a strong family unit. Higher sex drive is also what allows men to work longer hours and gives us the drive to invent and create things that we have in this world today.”

Codswallop. Men that cannot control their sexuality are the sexual misfits and perverts in my book. To say that men are so oversexed and cannot control their desires for sex puts them at no better than animals. It removes any responsibility from them, making the women of Evangelicalism the gatekeepers to every man’s sexuality, like they are children. Treating males like children is SO masculine for the men, and SO submissive for the women. /sarcasm. This is one of the most infuriating lies of this particular version of Christianity. Mature people are in charge of their own sexuality, and handle it in ways that do not harm others.

“What happens when most of the young women decide to delay marriage, sleep around, and use birth control? Men no longer have a healthy sexual outlet in marriage and instead find sexually available women to meet their sexual needs or resort to porn or other sinful activities.”

I am guessing that the author is completely unaware that historians have found pornographic and sexual images scratched onto the walls of caves going back many thousands of years before Christ.  There were temple prostitutes in the time of Christ. Masturbation has long been around without guys going blind, or getting hairy palms. It serves the purposes of allowing those not yet old enough for sex to deal with their hormones.

It’s not sin. It is basic biology.

To claim that sex within marriage solves all these societal ills is childish. Porn Hub routinely releases their usage rates, and they are highest in areas with fundamentalist Christianity in the States. Barna has done a number of surveys that confirms their findings. Even pastors have crazy high rates of porn usage. So clearly it is a thing going on in the religious community among married men, married men with submissive wives who are providing a regular sexual outlet. This problem is not what she’s claiming.
