Someone mentioned the other day in the comments here at NLQ that they couldn’t understand why many times the cultural enforcers all cover the same topics on the same weeks. It does seem sort of like a hive mind situation, but I believe it happens because there is only a limited pool of things they can use a spiritual boogiemen to scare their readers. Here Nancy Campbell of Above Rubies says that the trick to prevent divorce is by having a soft heart.

A soft heart isn’t going to do a single thing beneficial for you if you are being abused, or are married to a drug abuser or alcoholic, or a million other scenarios.
