No Longer Quivering
While I was at loath to post another piece by immature and mean-spirited Quiverfull cultural enforcer Lori Alexander of The Transformed Wife she posted about the upcoming midterm elections. Of course Lori does not want anyone voting anything but how she decides. She’s voting to make sure your vote does not count in the grand scheme of things. How very Christian of her!
So what does Lori believe about voting? There’s a lot to unpack. Here’s one of her neatly handwritten notepads from ages ago on Facebook that states similar things to her piece today:
“Be part of the King’s harem?” No thanks, that is a job description likely no one wants a part of.
We’ve shared Lori Alexander’s thoughts on voting before. She’s stated many times that in her perfect world no woman would ever have the right to vote. She states that again in this piece. Lori calls this piece of fear-mongering women hating dreck “Warnings Againt the Feminization of America”
Lori is speaking of a poster with a drawing of a hen rushing away and leaving the rooster with a full nest of eggs that needed incubation. People are not chickens and the illustration does not hold up because even then you could purchase an artifical egg incubator. Here’s the verbiage:
Sissies and organized female nagging? It’s almost as if this were written long ago. Oh wait! It was. Lori still approves and follows this by stating how our country has become degenerated. Lori is such an old biddie.
She then goes on to say that because God made Adam first it proves beyond all doubt that men are always the leaders and the ladies followers, because Bible.
Then Lori busts out the truly horrifying part, that if you must vote because you were given the right to do so you must vote the same way as your husband every time, reinforce his vote.
…and this exactly is why you must vote this Super Tuesday. Because these women like Lori Alexander will be voting for your oppression like the good little complicent betrayer of women they are. Women like Lori are the Aunt Lydias of this world, only interested in making sure every other woman has no rights.

On a side note this post was a good example of how Lori gets her ideas. This started as a minor discussion in her chat room that Lori jumped into the middle of, posted a poll, and kept talking about until it emerged a few days later as a post on the main blog. This is how Lori comes up with her ideas, like a small little squall in Africa ending up morphing into a hurricane of bad ideas.
