The Government Wants to Force Christians to Disobey God?

Well this is news to me! This comes from Tim Bayly’s blog so aptly named β€˜Out of Our Mindsβ€˜ and it’s a rant invoked when some government official that sounds like perhaps it was CPS questioned one of his parishioners. Instead of making sure his follower obeyed the law, or was alright, or seeking to talk to the government official to see what he could do to pour oil on the situation Bayly decides the best course of action is to bloviate. He thinks the government wants to force Christians to disobey God.

That’s some weak ineffective supreme being he’s got there.

Here’s a thought. Does he have any idea how these things come about in the first place? CPS in most places has their hands full with the children of people addicted to drugs, abused children and children needing protection and supervision. It’s not like they are going around looking to drum up business.

What happens when CPS shows up is that someone has expressed concern. Many times it’s a mandated reporter in the life of the child, someone legally required to report suspected abuse and neglect. They don’t have a choice.

What is it about Evangelical Quiverfull that causes them to behave like talking to government workers is the WORST THING EVER!?

Wouldn’t you rather that CPS and other agencies err on the side of caution when kids are involve? That’s right, they only care about children before they are born.

I guess we should just be grateful that Tim Bayly isn’t beating his gums about what real men do, and peeking into the metaphorical bedrooms of LGBTQ. Usually his nasty unbalanced ranting is saved up for the gays. Perhaps he can get a job at Fox News?
