Serial child molester Josh Duggar is facing a lawsuit from one of his underage victims who is not a member of the Duggar family.

Previous reports indicate Duggar forcibly fondled and sexually assaulted at least five underage girls, including four of his sisters and a family friend on multiple occasions, over the span of several years, while he was a teenager.

According to a new report, one of Josh Duggar’s molestation victims who is not in the immediate family is now planning to file a lawsuit against the 19 kids and Counting reality show star and former conservative Christian anti-LGBT activist.

In Touch magazine reports a non-Duggar family molestation victim is preparing to file a civil suit against Josh Duggar, noting:

The shocking development means that Josh and his parents Jim Bob and Michelle could be forced to give depositions and testify about Josh’s molestation scandal. The Duggars likely will have to answer every question as they will not be able to invoke their Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination because the criminal statute of limitations has expired.

Salon reports the lawsuit could be very damaging not just for Josh, but the entire family, because as a civil proceeding about a crime whose statute of limitations has expired, neither he nor his parents would be allowed to plead the Fifth to avoid self-incrimination.

Justice for Duggar’s victims has been slow in coming. A Christian conspiracy to “forgive and forget” allowed Josh Duggar, the oldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, to escape criminal prosecution for sexually assaulting four of his underage sisters plus an additional underage female victim.

A police report reveals that Josh Duggar, now 27, began assaulting his sisters and a family friend in 2002, and that the behavior occurred multiple times, including at least one incident in March 2003.

In particular, one ugly detail emerged from the police report: Josh Duggar was 15 when he sexually molested his 5-year-old sister on at least seven separate occasions.

Perhaps even more disgusting than the actual sexual assaults, is the fact that Josh confessed to his father, Jim Bob Duggar, on at least three separate occasions. Josh Duggar confessed to his father that he was molesting children, and his mother and father did nothing but hide the crime from the authorities until the statute of limitations had expired.

Speaking with Megyn Kelly on Fox News last month, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar denied their son Josh was a pedophile and blamed the media for targeting the family in an anti-Christian conspiracy.

19 Victims and Counting: New details emerge concerning Josh Duggar’s sexual abuse of children, and the cover-up of his crime by parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.

According to a Washington County Sheriff’s report recently obtained by In Touch magazine, Josh Duggar confessed that he was sexually molesting children, including his sisters and a family friend, to his father, Jim Bob Duggar, on at least three separate occasions.

Three. Separate. Occasions.

Yet despite the the multiple confessions, and the fact that Josh’s sexually abusive and criminal behavior was continuing to grow, the Duggars waited at least 16 months before contacting authorities about their son repeatedly sexually molesting their daughters and a family friend.

The new police report reveals that Josh Duggar, now 27, began assaulting his sisters and a family friend in 2002, and that the behavior occurred multiple times, including at least one incident in March 2003.

In particular, one ugly detail emerged from the Washington County Sheriff’s report: Josh Duggar was 15 when he sexually molested his 5-year-old sister on at least seven separate occasions.

The following is an excerpt from the Washington County police report via In Touch magazine:

“James said that in March of 2002 [redacted, Josh] who had just turned 14, came to him very upset and crying,” the new report reads. “James said that [redacted, Josh] had told him that he had been sneaking into [redacted, his sisters’] room at night and had been touching [redacted, his sisters] on the breasts and vaginal areas while they were sleeping.”

The report details that Josh went from sister to sister, stating, “Apparently all of the girls were sleeping in a common room at this time.”

Legal experts note that Jim Bob and Michelle could have faced six years in prison for failing to report the crime and for failing to protecting their daughters from the sexual abuse. However, the statute of limitations has expired, and it appears that neither Josh nor his parents will face criminal prosecution for their respective roles in the criminal activity.

TLC reports they have “pulled all episodes of ‘19 Kids and Counting’ currently from the air,” though the network has yet to cancel the series outright.

The Duggars are expected to address the molestation and sexual abuse that went on in their home on Fox News’ “The Kelly File”  which airs later tonight (Wednesday) at 9 p.m. ET.

Previously Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar claimed the sexual assault of their daughters by their son “brought them closer to God.”

Leading creationist Eric Hovind argues that if evolution is true, it wasn’t wrong for Josh Duggar to sexually assault little girls, “because what one evolved bag of molecules does to another bag of molecules just doesn’t really matter.”

Writing on his blog Creation Today, leading creationist Eric Hovind, son of imprisoned creationist theme park operator Kent Hovind, defended Duggar’s heinous acts by making an absurd argument involving evolution.

Hovind, expressing the twisted moral logic of many creationists, writes:

If evolution is true, then there is no absolute right and wrong. If evolution is true Josh should not have admitted his faults over a decade ago because what one evolved bag of molecules does to another bag of molecules just doesn’t really matter. If evolution is true there is no ultimate Judge on the bench who will hold every man, woman, and child responsible for their actions. And if evolution is true you will not give an account for every idle word you speak.

Hovind’s argument, if it can be called an argument at all, is an embarrassing obscenity.

Josh Duggar, the oldest son of “19 Kids and Counting” Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, sexually assaulted four of his underage sisters plus an additional underage female victim. To deny the humanity of Duggar’s victims in a petty attempt to make some juvenile and facile argument about evolution is obscene.

Hovind continues to make light of the damage Duggar has done to his victims on his Facebook page. Hovind writes:

A good punishment for Josh Duggar?

Since Josh molested girls, which could damage their trust of men, which could damage their future marriage, which could damage their future family, we should make Josh Duggar work the rest of his life to help families stay together and help them recognize how twisted the world is and how God offers instruction on how to live righteously! He should be forced to push faith, family and freedom in the public showing the Christian worldview has the answers.

We should force him to get a job at the Family Research Counsel (sic) who’s (sic) mission is “to advance faith, family and freedom in public policy and the culture from a Christian worldview.”

That would be a great punishment!

Before being forced to resign earlier this week after news of his crimes were leaked to the media, Duggar was a policy director at the Family Research Council, an anti-gay Christian extremist organization which has been classified as a hate group for making false claims about the LGBT community based on discredited research and junk science with the intention to denigrate LGBT people.

Hovind’s jocular attitude towards the sexual assault of little girls is morally repugnant. The fact that Hovind would make light of such heinous acts reveals a profound poverty of both intellect and character.

For Hovind, and Christians like him, morality is dependent upon some imaginary God, some “ultimate Judge on the bench who will hold every man, woman, and child responsible for their actions.”

For Hovind, without a God to judge, everything is permissible, including the sexual assault of little girls.

Amanda Marcotte, writing for AlterNet, has given what has come to be a classic response to such intellectually challenged and imbecilic notions. Marcotte writes:

Atheist are routinely asked how people will know not to rape and murder without religion telling them not to do it, especially a religion that backs up the orders with threats of hell. Believers, listen to me carefully when I say this: When you use this argument, you terrify atheists. We hear you saying that the only thing standing between you and Ted Bundy is a flimsy belief in a supernatural being made up by pre-literate people trying to figure out where the rain came from. This is not very reassuring if you’re trying to argue from a position of moral superiority.

Or, as Detective Rust Cohle from Season One of HBO’s “True Detective” so eloquently states:

If the only thing keeping a person decent is the expectation of divine reward, then brother that person is a piece of shit.

Bottom line: Evolution is true; morality is not dependent upon some imaginary god; and sexual assault is always wrong.

Cover up and hypocrisy: A conspiracy to “forgive and forget” allowed Josh Duggar, the oldest son of “19 Kids and Counting” Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, to escape criminal prosecution for sexually assaulting four of his underage sisters plus an additional underage female victim.

The disgraced Josh Duggar has now admitted to what police reports confirm: the oldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar forcibly fondled and sexually assaulted at least five underage girls, including four of his sisters, on multiple occasions, over the span of several years, while he was a teenager.

Josh Duggar was never prosecuted for his crimes. Jim Bob Duggar waited over 1 year to alert police to the fact that his son was sexually abusing his daughters, despite the fact that both Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were aware that multiple incidents of sexual abuse in their home had occurred.

However, Jim Bob Duggar did tell members of his church about Josh’s offenses, but the church leadership also chose to wait months before notifying the police, thus participating in the cover up.

When the police were finally informed of the crime no charges were filed, despite the fact that during the 2006 investigation, multiple victims testified to police that Josh Duggar had sexually molested them.

Jim Bob told police, when he was interviewed in 2006, that Josh had been “disciplined” for his actions, explaining that the Duggars sent their son to a Christian program at the advice of their church elders. It turns out that “program” entailed working for a family friend remodeling a building.

According to the police report, Josh Duggar apologized to the girls he had sexually assaulted, and family members told police that the girls had “forgiven” him. One victim told police that Josh “sought after God and had turned back to God.”

Because of a three-year statute of limitations, Josh Duggar has apparently escaped prosecution. Questions remain as to why police failed to act on the allegations at the time, as well as why the family waited over a year before reporting the sexual assaults.

Perhaps more disturbing than the fact that Josh Duggar avoided any legal consequences for his crimes, is the family’s apparent complete and total disregard for the victims of Josh Duggar – his underage sisters.

Identities.Mic reports:

One in five girls in this country is a victim of child sexual abuse, according to the National Center for Victims of Crime, and 3 out of 4 adolescent victims of sexual assault knew the perpetrator well, according to a 2003 National Institute of Justice report.

Commenting on the Duggar scandal, Jonny Scaramanga, writing at Leaving Fundamentalism, notes:

Groups like Homeschoolers Anonymous have been warning about the abuse in patriarchal Christian movements for years. They’ve been telling everyone who’ll listen how abuse is facilitated by the power structures in that world, and how the same system works to cover it up. How many more victims do there have to be? When will people start to listen? If anything good can come out of this atrocity, it would be for it to become the tipping point where people start to take safeguarding in homeschooling and fundamentalist environments seriously.

Scaramanga’s warnings about the dangers of Christian homeschooling cannot be overemphasized. It is clear the Duggar’s radical Christian lifestyle known as the Quiverfull movement contributed to and facilitated the sexual abuse and subsequent cover up.

Josh Duggar, the oldest son of “19 Kids and Counting” Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, allegedly sexually assaulted four of his underage sisters plus an additional underage female victim.

Arkansas police reports obtained via the Freedom of Information Act by In Touch Weekly reveal Josh Duggar was investigated by police for allegedly forcibly fondling and sexually assaulting five underage girls, including four of his sisters, on multiple occasions when he was a teenager.

The 33 pages of material include accusations of “multiple sex offenses, including forcible fondling against five minors” going back to 2002.

Josh Duggar is currently 27-years-old and a policy director at the Family Research Council, an anti-gay Christian extremist organization which has been classified as a hate group for making false claims about the LGBT community based on discredited research and junk science with the intention to denigrate LGBT people.

According to multiple reports, a then 17 year-old Josh Duggar was brought into the Arkansas State Police by his father, Jim Bob, who said he caught him leaving a young girl’s bedroom and “learned something inappropriate happened.”

According to reports, the incidents of sexual abuse date back to 2002 when Josh Duggar would have been 14 years old. Police reports state that the father, Jim Bob Duggar, was first alerted by one of the alleged victims in March 2002. She allegedly told Jim Bob that Josh had been touching her genitals and breasts while she was sleeping, according to the report.

The police report says Josh was accused of fondling the “breasts and vaginas” of multiple minors “when they were sleeping” and sometimes when they were awake. Jim Bob said that Josh had been “disciplined” for his actions.

The report states that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar then learned that multiple incidents like this had occurred. Jim Bob told police, when he was interviewed in 2006, that the Duggars sent their son to a Christian program at the advice of their church elders.

During the 2006 investigation, multiple victims testified to police that Josh Duggar had sexually molested them. The report said some of the underage victims lived with Jim Bob and Michelle, indicating they were his siblings.

The whole thing is an ugly twist to a bizarre and twisted family saga. The Duggars are part of a radical Christian lifestyle known as the Quiverfull movement, a movement where children are considered canon fodder in the Lord’s army: culture warriors bred to promote an ugly, intolerant, sexist, and homophobic brand of Christian extremism.

Ultimately, all of the Duggar kids are victims: victims of Christian patriarchy, victims of Christian homeschooling, victims of Christian parents who raised their children to be ideological props in their perverted and deluded fantasy of Christian dominion.

As a product of the Quiverfull movement, the Duggar children were raised to be cannon fodder in a Christian Holy War. As such, they should all have our sympathy.

Speaking with Megyn Kelly on Fox News, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar denied their son Josh was a pedophile and blamed the media for targeting the family in an anti-Christian conspiracy.

Claiming their son only fondled their daughters and an undereage babysitter over and under their clothes, the parents argued it “was nothing like rape” but only “inappropriate touching.”

Jim Bob Duggar argued that their son Josh was technically not a pedophile because he was 15 and not 16 when the sexual assaults supposedly came to an end.

Jim Bob said:

… actually a pedophile is an adult that preys on children. Joshua was actually 14 and just turned 15 when he did what he did.

I think the legal definition is 16 and up for an adult preying on a child. He was a child preying on a child.

Minimizing the victimization of her daughters by their son, and implying there was an anti-Christian media conspiracy working against the family, Michelle Duggar said:

I feel like this is more about — there is an agenda and there are people that are purposing to try to bring things out and twisting them to hurt and slander.

At one point, Jim Bob, echoing the theme that the family is a victim of an Anti-Christian media conspiracy, said:

And when you’re in every newspaper and everything throughout the world, I mean, it’s been an unprecedented attack on our family…

The whole interview was a rather horrid display as two profoundly ignorant parents tried to justify and rationalize the criminal actions of their son, the sexual victimization of their daughters, and their own culpability in covering up the crimes of abuse.

To her credit, Megyn Kelly, despite being an employee of Fox News, was, for the most part, fair and balanced in the interview. She did a good job of presenting the facts and allowing the Duggars to speak for themselves.

The Duggars, however, did not do so well. They came across as being disingenuous and self-serving. As one perceptive blogger notes, the interview was an attempt to “minimize, deny and obfuscate.”

Another soldier for the Lord: Disgraced 19 Kids and Counting reality stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar say they plan on adopting another child in 2016.

If Jim Bob, 50, and Michelle, 48, are allowed to adopt, it would be the couple’s twentieth child.

InTouch Weekly and other sources are reporting the Duggars are in the process of adopting a child.

A source close to the family says:

They’ve been mulling it over for a long time, and they feel the time is right to get legal advice and get the process underway. They’re looking to adopt a child in the New Year.

The Duggars are part of a radical Christian lifestyle known as the Quiverfull movement, a movement where children are considered canon fodder in the Lord’s army: culture warriors bred to promote an ugly, intolerant, sexist, and homophobic brand of Christian extremism.

Last year TLC cancelled “19 Kids and Counting,” the obnoxious reality television show that celebrated the Duggar’s twisted conservative Christian values after it was revealed that Josh Duggar, the oldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, sexually assaulted four of his underage sisters plus an additional underage female victim.

Compounding and contributing to the crime, a “conspiracy to “forgive and forget” forged by the Duggar parents and church leaders allowed Josh Duggar to escape criminal prosecution for sexually assaulting his underage victims.

Yet ultimately, all of the Duggar kids are victims: victims of Christian patriarchy, victims of Christian homeschooling, victims of Christian parents who raise their children to be ideological props in their perverted and deluded fantasy of Christian dominion.

As a product of the Quiverfull movement, the Duggar children are raised to be cannon fodder in a Christian Holy War. As such, one must question the wisdom of allowing the Duggars to adopt and indoctrinate yet another child.

Disgraced Duggar family matriarch Michelle Duggar has some awful advice for newlywed women: Be “joyfully available” to your husband’s sexual needs at all times, whether you feel like it or not.

Michelle Duggar, 49, took to the family blog last week to share three pieces of marriage advice, and her first suggestion was all about catering to what she calls a man’s “special need.”

Duggar, recounting advice she received as a newlywed, writes:

… I know you’re so excited. You’re a bride-to-be, but … You’ve got to remember this … you are the only one who can meet that special need that he has in his life for intimacy. You’re it. You’re the only one. So don’t forget that, that he needs you. So when you are exhausted at the end of the day, maybe from dealing with little ones, and you fall into bed so exhausted at night, don’t forget about him because you and he are the only ones who can have that time together. No one else in the world can meet that need.

And so be available, and not just available, but be joyfully available for him. Smile and be willing to say, ‘Yes, sweetie I am here for you,’ no matter what, even though you may be exhausted and big pregnant and you may not feel like he feels.

Duggar’s advice sounds like sexual slavery. Apparently for Duggar a marriage is not about mutual respect, and not about real love. Instead, according to Duggar, marriage for a woman is reduced to a joyless and dutiful sexual submission in a vain and deleterious effort to please Jesus.

Duggar has become a tragic figure of late. TLC cancelled “19 Kids and Counting” last July after it was revealed that Josh Duggar, the oldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, sexually assaulted four of his underage sisters plus an additional underage female victim.

Compounding and contributing to the crime, a “conspiracy to “forgive and forget” forged by the Duggar parents and church leaders allowed Josh Duggar to escape criminal prosecution for sexually assaulting his underage victims.

The disgraced Josh Duggar now admits to what police reports confirm: the oldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar forcibly fondled and sexually assaulted at least five underage girls, including four of his sisters, on multiple occasions, over the span of several years, while he was a teenager.

Earlier this year, while speaking with Megyn Kelly on Fox News, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar denied their son Josh was a pedophile and blamed the media for targeting the family in an anti-Christian conspiracy.

Bottom line: Michelle Duggar’s advice to newlywed women is horrible advice for anyone interested in living a healthy and sexually fulfilling life. In addition, the twisted and sadistic advice also reveals something very sad and tragic about Michelle Duggar’s life under Christian patriarchy.

TLC is bringing the Duggars back to reality television. According to multiple media reports, TLC has announced plans to create several new specials featuring the controversial evangelical family from Arkansas.

Only months after scandal forced TLC to cancel the long-running reality hit “19 Kids and Counting,” the network is resuming its on-air relationship with the family of Christian extremists  by starring daughters Jill and Jessa in two or more specials.

Associated Press reports production begins soon on the programs, announced Thursday, with an anticipated airdate by year-end for at least the first of them.

The specials will focus on Duggar daughters, Jessa (Duggar) Seewald and Jill (Duggar) Dillard. Both admitted during a Fox News interview that their older brother, Josh Duggar, had molested them as children.

Josh Duggar subsequently resigned from his post with the conservative Family Research Council and later admitted to cheating on his wife after being caught up in the aftermath of the Ashley Madison hack.

The Duggar Family Official Facebook page celebrate the announcement with the following statement:

We appreciate all the prayers for our family. God has drawn us closer to Him and to each other this summer. We are grateful that the new TLC specials set to air this fall will be sharing special moments with Jill, Derick and Israel on the foreign mission field and following Ben and Jessa as they prepare for the arrival of their first baby!

About the new programs, TLC Executive Vice President and General Manager Nancy Daniels told The Associated Press:

What we will be following in these specials is Jessa preparing for her first child, and we’ll be watching Jill preparing to make a major move to Central America with her family, which we know is something our audience will be interested in.

We know that our audience is really excited about what’s been going on with Jill and Jessa as they move into young adulthood. And now they’re both at the precipice of big changes. With what was happening in their lives in the next few months, it felt like now is the time (for the specials), and we got going pretty quickly.

There’s no doubt it’s been a tough few months on the family, and we’ve obviously been in close contact with them as they’ve been going through it.

According to industry insiders Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are pitching a new reality show where they would counsel young victims of sexual abuse.

Apparently the Duggars are pitching the idea of a new reality show related to the upcoming special Breaking the Silence, a documentary on child sexual abuse scheduled to air August 30 on TLC.

US magazine reports TLC has been working closely with the Duggar family on the one-hour documentary that will include daughters Jill and Jessa as well as other survivors and families that have been affected by abuse.

According to reports, the Duggars are hoping to launch a spin-off show relating to the upcoming documentary.
