I just can’t keep up.
I published a post earlier today listing the 6 things I thought were most damaging to America that Trump/Elon had done this week. I should have waited a minute. The show-stopper for the week was coming.
In what I believe was a pre-planned attack that had been coordinated with Russia beforehand, Trump kicked President Zelensky out of the White House today.
It began at what had been billed as a negotiation. The press, which included a reporter from TASS, the Russian state media organization, was there, watching the whole performance. One of the right wing reporters (who was probably in on the whole deal) asked why President Zelensky wasn’t wearing a suit when he came to the White House.
I think it’s interesting that no one asked Trump’s darling, Elon Musk, why he wore a t-shirt with a huge slogan on it and ball cap to this week’s cabinet meeting; a meeting that he completely dominated and controlled while Trump literally dozed in his chair. (Not joking, the old fool fell asleep at his own cabinet meeting while Elon ran the show.)
The meeting with President Zelensky quickly went downhill, with Trump being rude, nonsensical and argumentative and JD Vance yelling asides about how President Zelensky should say “thank you” and shouting the usual Russian propaganda lies while Marco Rubio sat in his seat on the sofa next to Vance, looking like a pile of Kentucky fried crap.
If you doubt this little ballet was rehearsed and planned, all you have to do is watch Rubio. He gave every appearance that knew what was coming. He didn’t like it. But he wasn’t man enough to endanger his big position as Secretary of State, stand up for what he’d been saying all of his public life that he believed, and walk out. Nope. He just sat there and sold his soul.
No sooner had this little performance come to an end than Russia’s foreign ministry issued a statement calling President Zelensky an “insolent pig” who had “received a proper slap in the Oval Office.”
I think that this thing was planned and that Russia was in on it, right down to having a reporter from TASS standing there in the Oval Office where he had no right to be, recording the whole thing.
What we saw in the Oval Office looked to me like Putin’s good boy, performing tricks for his master.
My question: Who is running the United States of America?
Is Elon running our country?
Is JD Vance?
Is the Heritage Foundation?
Is Putin?
