Same Kind of Different As Me, the film starring Greg Kinnear and Renee Zellwegger based on the bestselling book by Ron Hall and Denver Moore, is releasing to home video next month. After a box office run that netted $6.5 million, the film will be available on digital outlets Feb. 9 and on DVD and Blu-Ray on Feb. 20 from Paramount Pictures. I spoke to Ron Hall last year prior to the release of the film and it is quite an extraordinary story. The Sony Animation/AFFIRM Films' release The Star, an animated take on the Nativity story through the eyes of the animals, will release to DVD and Blu-Ray on Feb. 20 and digital outlets on Feb. 6. The film, which has earned more than $40 million and is the 12th highest grossing Christian movie, features the voices of Steven Yeun, Zachary Levi, Gina Rodriguez, Patricia Heaton, Aidy Bryant, Kristin Chenoweth, Keegan-Michael Key, Tracy Morgan, Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey. The theme song, "The Star," performed by Mariah Carey and written by Mariah Carey & Marc Shaiman, received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song. Read more
