Giveaway: Five Books for Five-Stars

Last Friday, Slow Church received its 20^th five-star review on Amazon. (It now has 22 five-star reviews.) We’ve been humbled by this outpouring of support.

To say thank you, we’re giving away five books, all to one person! Because we think Slow Church is a book best read in community, someone will receive four copies to read with their church, Sunday school class, book club, or wherever they discuss books. They will also receive one copy of The New Parish, a book we often urge folks to read in conjunction with ours.

Here’s how to enter the drawing:

On Facebook or Twitter, answer this question: What is one thing – a person, a place, a key conviction, a bit of history, etc. – that contributes to the distinct taste and texture of your neighborhood? Use the hashtag #SlowChurch and, if you have room, please include a link to this post (Shortened link: http://bit.ly/UcIgCz). Remember that if your Facebook post isn’t sharing to “Public,” we won’t be able to see that you wrote it.

Here are two ways of increasing your community’s chances of winning:

1. Post something new each day.
2. Have other members of your church, organization, or book club post their own answers to our question.
